First introduced as a long-distance running style, Nike have brought back the Nike Air Ghost Racer shoe with a focus on a lightweight performance through the use of breathable mesh inserts across the uppers and synthetic leather overlays. Seen here with a striking aesthetic coloured in tones of hyper jade, racer blue and wolf grey, all-day comfort has been achieved through a traditional lace up system upon a cushioned tongue adorned with a rubber Swoosh tick and stylised suede panelling. On either side of the foot metallic racer blue Swoosh ticks have been added for signature branding and another can be found on the back of the heel over a wolf grey oval. The sculpted midsole brings further character to the model whilst adding support and stability with a midfoot wrap. A Nike Air unit has been inserted into the sockliner for impact cushioning.

Crafted with speed, stability and comfort at the forefront of its design, this new season footwear style draws inspiration from a retro running shoe which was released twenty years ago and has now returned with strong attention to detail for a near-identical finish. Nike have used modern features and upgraded materials for an enhanced experience, whilst capturing the story behind the model which was to feel as though the runner wasn’t wearing footwear; a ghost racer.
