Ilse Jacobsen has developed the special anti-ice sole with a rough surface so it provides the best possible traction in slippery and icy conditions. The cold won’t ruin your rubber boots either because the soles are made of lightweight EVA, withstanding temperatures down to -40 degrees Celsius and the upper can withstand temperatures down to -20 degrees Celsius. Natural rubber will eventually develop a white surface over the years if you do not treat it regularly. This is simply because the rubber loses its essential oil.
